Thompson RCMP investigate homicide

Thompson RCMP are treating the death of a 36-year-old woman as a homicide following an autopsy earlier this week.

Police say on March 24, officers responded to a report of an unresponsive female at a home on Grey Wolf Bay in Thompson. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene and following an April 4 autopsy, investigators deemed her death a homicide.

Thompson RCMP, along with Major Crime Services and RCMP Forensic Identification Services, continues to investigate the homicide.
