Three Winnipeg men have been charged with second-degree murder in connection to the fatal shooting of Winnipeg man Salah Falah Hasan, 59, on July 3, police announced on Thursday.

Winnipeg police said the three suspects were arrested on Tuesday and believe the victim and at least one of the suspects were prior acquaintances.
Police said three men were at Hasan’s residence in the Parc La Salle neighbourhood when the victim was fatally shot.
On July 3, at around 3 a.m., officers were called to the St. Norbert neighbourhood where they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound at a residence in the 200 block of Houde Drive. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition, where he died from his injuries.
The three suspects are all in custody.
Hasan’s murder was the 27th of the year in Winnipeg.
