Police ask for public's help in locating suspect in early-morning shooting

Winnipeg Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in a shooting that sent one man to hospital after being shot early Friday morning.
At around 1:30 a.m., Winnipeg Police responded to a shooting that had just occurred at the Dakota Community Centre at 1188 Dakota Street. A 19-year-old male had been shot and was being taken to the hospital by civilian associates. He is currently in stable condition, police said.
Two male youths were arrested at the scene and face charges of aggravated assault related to the incident. One of the youths was also charged with possessing a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.
Police issued a request Saturday for help in finding a third suspect, 18-year-old Carlin Dare who is subject of an arrest warrant regarding the incident.
He is described as six-foot-one in height and 220 lbs and is considered armed and dangerous and is not to be approached.
