EYE ON CRIME: Crime Stoppers ask for public's help in robberies

Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating suspects wanted in an alleged convenience store theft and armed robbery. To help generate tips, Crime Stoppers released photos on both incidents.

Three unknown persons described as being in their early 20s attended to a convenience store in the 300 block of Dufferin on Sept. 19, 2023, at around 2:30 a.m., and began to argue with the store clerk. The three suspects then allegedly attacked the clerk with multiple weapons before stealing and destroying merchandise while leaving the store, Crime Stoppers said.

On Sept. 16, 2023, the victims were waiting for a Winnipeg Transit bus on the corner of McGregor and Mountain when they were approached by an unknown person. The suspect allegedly produced a knife and demanded money from the victims before fleeing on foot, Crime Stoppers said.
