Three people were injured — two seriously — in a two-vehicle wreck in the RM of Hanover.

The crash happened about 2 p.m. Sunday at the corner of Provincial Road 29 East and Provincial Road 24 North, said St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP, when a northbound truck collided with an eastbound car.

RCMP said the driver of the car, a 28-year-old Grunthal man, and a 23-year-old Winnipeg woman riding as his passenger were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the truck, a 53-year-old Grunthal woman, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Icy road conditions are considered a factor in the wreck, said RCMP.

The investigation continues.
