After a rough welcome to winter Winnipeg is set for a mild weekend.
First comes a forecast -32 C windchill Thursday. Not factoring in the wind, that's -17 C and sunny.
Overnight it will dip down to -26 C.
The sun continues Friday with a high of -15 C — -25 C with the windchill.
But Saturday, some cloud cover will help warm the city to a high of -10 C, low of -15 C.
Those clouds turn to snow Sunday — or at least a 60% chance of snow — with a high of -7 C and low of -15 C.
More snow is due Monday with a high of -10 C, low of -11 C.
But the chill returns Tuesday, along with the sun, with a forecast high — yes, high — of -21 C. The low is -25 C.
It could get that cold next Wednesday, too, though the forecast daily high is -16 C.
